Hi, I’m Melanie!

I’m a wife, mom, special education teacher, and the heart behind Friebe Family Travel.

As a teacher, I spend my days helping children learn, grow, and experience the world in new ways. As a mom, some of my greatest joys come from watching my own family experience that same sense of wonder—seeing a new place for the first time, laughing together on an adventure, putting our toes in the ocean, or simply stepping away from everyday life to enjoy being together.

Over the years, I’ve realized that the best things we can give our families usually aren’t things at all. They’re memories.

Toys get outgrown. Clothes get replaced. The newest gadgets eventually become old ones. But the first time your child sees a castle, the excitement of boarding a cruise ship, the sound of everyone laughing together on the beach, or that one vacation story your family tells over and over again—those moments stay with you.

That belief is why I started Friebe Family Travel.

I want to help other families create more of those moments. I know how busy life can be and how overwhelming planning a vacation can sometimes feel. My goal is to take as much of that stress off your shoulders as possible so you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time looking forward to the experience.

For me, travel isn’t about checking destinations off a list. It’s about slowing down, being together, experiencing something new, and creating stories your family will still be telling years from now.

Childhood goes by quickly. Life gets busy. There will always be more things we could buy.

But we only get so many opportunities to make these memories together.
